The Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation (GPFE), Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) and Parliamentarians’ Forum for Development Evaluation (PFDE) hosted a “regional consultation on equity-focused and gender-responsive national evaluation policies and systems”

in Asia in collaboration with EvalGender+, UN Women, UNEG and UNICEF.  VOPE leaders, parliamentarians and senior government representatives from various Asian countries, with representatives from development partners participated in the consultation. The purpose was to share information on current progress and prepare country work plans to advance the National Evaluation Policy (NEP) process.

The consultation enabled participating countries to collaboratively work with various stakeholders on key issues related to the NEP and its advancement. The two-day consultation session was held from 23-24 November, 2016 in Hanoi, Vietnam back-to-back with APEA’s International Evaluation Conference.
